ACS Flight Training launches the 2020 Flying Scholarship
ACS Flight Training has announced they will be awarding a brand-new 2020 flying scholarship, adding to the schools well-established and highly successful Flight Instructor Sponsorship Program. The new initiative is supported by Bose Aviation and driven by the growing demand for airline pilots.
The winners of the ACS scholarship will receive 10 hours of flight training towards a Private Pilots Licence, 12 months membership with ACS Flight Training and a Bose A20 aviation headset.
ACS Flight Training will grant two individuals a scholarship with the aim of supporting individuals who might otherwise not have the necessary resources to gain flying experience and ultimately achieve their Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL).
The scholarship will allow students to progress onto a variety of professional roles within the aviation industry such as commercial airline pilot. The winners of the scholarships will be presented with the award at the Pilot Careers and Flight Training Seminar, Glasgow 2020 which will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Glasgow Airport on Saturday 29th February 2020.
Craig McDonald, Director of ACS Aviation, said: “We are keen to encourage young people to not only become involved in the world of aviation but also reach their full potential and are extremely proud to support this new scholarship.”
